Enhancing Customer Value Through
Stable Storage,
Customized
Processing,
and On-Time Transportation
Ocean cargo such as fuel, raw materials, auxiliary materials, non-ferrous metals, and biomass is transported to the CTS facilities in Gwangyang and Pohang, where it is unloaded and stored in yard storage areas and indoor warehouses.
Processing services tailored to customer requirements are provided for materials such as anthracite coal, while stable fuel quality is maintained through size-specific yield management and the minimization of material loss.
By integrating coastal shipping, trucking, and rail transportation, cargo is transported to final destinations including power plants, cement companies, and customers in the steel and non-steel industries.

Large-Scale Processing Capabilities Based on Port Infrastructure
Centered on the CTS facilities in Gwangyang and Pohang, port infrastructure capable of stably handling large-volume bulk cargo is operated. In Gwangyang, operations include a 113,720㎡ yard (storage capacity: 420,000 tons), seven berths for vessels up to 85,000 DWT (annual handling capacity: approximately 5 million tons), and outbound terminals (annual handling capacity: approximately 4.8 million tons). In Pohang, a 25,000㎡ yard and an 11,385㎡ indoor warehouse are operated.
Cargo Quality Management Based on Real-Time Monitoring
Cargo inbound and outbound operations, as well as storage conditions, are managed in real time through the terminal management system. A cargo quality management system tailored to cargo characteristics is maintained through coal moisture and temperature monitoring, thermal imaging inspections, and covering and coating operations.
Systematic Environmental Management and Site Operations
Worksite environmental conditions are managed through water recycling systems for wastewater treatment, along with the operation of water spraying and wheel-washing facilities. Dust generated during unloading and yard operations is managed through the use of yard and vessel spraying systems, as well as road sweepers.
A Bulk Cargo Distribution Network
Connected to Major Global
Resource Origins
Large-volume cargo imported from major resource-producing countries such as Australia, Russia, and Indonesia is unloaded, stored, and processed at the CTS facilities in Gwangyang and Pohang before being reliably supplied to domestic and international customers.
